<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">FARIDKOT: An utterance of former Punjab chief minister Harcharan Singh Brar that his daughter-in-law Karan Brar was allotted LS ticket for Faridkot by the Congress high command on its own and family never demanded the ticket has led to resentment among many party leaders in the area.<br /><br />While some party leaders said that the remarks by Brar was an insult to the party, some supporters of Jagmeet Brar are upset for Harcharan Brar raising objection to the former shifting to Ferozepur from Faridkot.<br /><br />Surinder Gupta, chairman Improvement Trust Faridkot said on Thursday that though Brar family made all possible efforts to get the ticket for Karan Brar but to show his supremacy, it was painting a different picture which was a insult to the party high command.<br /><br />Gupta who was one of the strong contender for the party ticket for Faridkot seat said that the remarks of Brar family members against Jagmeet Brar has annoyed many Jagmeet supporters in the area and it would be loss to Karan Brar.<br /><br />Commenting on Jagmeet shifting to Ferozepur, some leaders in Jagmeet camp said that if Sonia Gandhi can shift from Amethi to Rai Bareli, Balram Jakhar can change his constitunecy from Sikar to Churu, there was nothing wrong in Jagmeet shifting to Ferozepur rather it would widen his base in the party and public.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
