<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">FARIDKOT: Accompanied by her husband Sunny Brar and the former Punjab education minister Avtar Singh Brar, the Congress candidate Kiran Brar inaugurated her election office here on Saturday. Hundreds of party workers were present on the occasion.<br /><br />Talking to media persons after the inauguration ceremony, Kiran Brar claimed that though she was much behind her rival Sukhbir Singh Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal in starting election campaign but she would soon cover up.

<br /><br />She dispelled the rumours that her father-in-law and former Punjab chief minister Harcharan Singh Brar was not happy at her getting the party ticket. She said that though her father-in-law could not join her campaign so for due to health reasons but he had extended full support to her candidature.<br /><br />When asked about her poll planks, Kiran said that potable water for each village, solution of water logging in the district and upliftment of women would be her main agendas. She also promised to make amends for trifurcation of Faridkot district by her father-in-law during his reign. <br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
