'Cong candidate joins INLD'

CHANDIGARH: The ruling Indian National Lok Dal(INLD), led by chief minister Om Prakash Chautala, on Thursday, claimed that Congress party’s covering candidate Ram Raj Mehta for the Fatehabad assembly by-election has joined INLD along with his supporters.
A party release said that Ram Raj Mehta joined the INLD in the presence of Abhey Singh Chautala, MLA.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhey Singh said that Mehta had, in fact, staged a comeback to the INLD and would be given due respect. He complimented Mehta for taking a right step at a right time.
