Manoj Kumar, general secretary, Chandigarh Government College Teachers Association said that recent judgments in Punjab and Haryana High court clearly stated that all higher education institutions in Chandigarh were fully funded by the Central government, thereby, Punjab Service rules were inapplicable on teachers and other academic staff in these colleges.
