College hosts gender meet

CHANDIGARH: As part of the community outreach programme, a gender sensitization programme was organised by Govt Home Science College, Chandigarh. It was held under Chandigarh administration���s action plan for gender sensitization and removal of discrimination against girlchild.
About 100-125 adolescent girls and women attended the programme held in the Gurdwara Hall at Khuda Ali Sher.Village sarpanch Gurdial Singh, mahila pradhan Jasbir Kaur and college principal Rita G Singh were the chief guests at the function.
