CM announces Rs 50 lakh, job for kin of Lt Vinay Narwal

Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday announced to give Rs 50 lakh and a govt job to a family member of Lt Vinay Narwal, naval officer from Karnal resident who was killed by terrorists in Pahalgam on April 22. The CM said the govt job will be given to any of the family members, as per the wish of the parents of Lt Narwal.On April 22, terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, in which Lt Narwal was killed. The CM condemned the cowardly act of the terrorists and categorically reiterated that there will be no Pakistani national in Haryana after Sunday. Meanwhile, Tuesday is the deadline for those Pakistani nationals who have come on medical visas to India.The anti-espionage cells of the Haryana Police have been activated, and the security branches of districts have intensified operations to check if those Pak nationals who came to India on visas have left or not. With records in their hands, the agencies are doing the marking and verifications.
