Clean sweep by Bhavan boys in Panchkula

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, shone the brightest as three of its students, Sai Gaurav Sahoo (99.6%), Akshat Goel (99.4%) and Soumil Pramanick (99.2%), took the top three positions in Class X results declared by the CBSE on Friday.

PANCHKULA: Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, shone the brightest as three of its students, Sai Gaurav Sahoo (99.6%), Akshat Goel (99.4%) and Soumil Pramanick (99.2%), took the top three positions in Class X results declared by the CBSE on Friday.
Continuing with the saga of stupendous results and producing global achievers, the Bhavanites have once again proved that they are cut above the rest, said
School Principal Gulshan Kaur said that out of 222 students who appeared for the examination, six students scored 99% and above; 54 students scored more than 95 % and above whereas 130 students scored above 90% in aggregate.

The school was also proud of Atharv Aggarwal, Danish Aggarwal and Mudil Goel who scored 99% in aggregate, Kaur said. All three of them have been Olympiad achievers for science and mathematics, she added.

Sai Gaurav has been an all-rounder and has shown his feat in various Olympiads. He has also bagged Zonal Rank 8 in SOF International Science Olympiad. he is also an enthusiastic painter and has won several competitions in the same. Akshat Goel got first rank secured AIR 11 in stage 2 of Tallentex exam, secured state rank 5 and 45 in silver zone of mathematics Olympiad and Science Olympiad.
Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Panchkula zone in Class X and XII. In Class X ,out of the total 95,303 boys 90,800 have cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 95.28%, while 63,862 girls have passed the exam out of 65257, a pass percentage of 97.86%.
In Panchkula zone, private schools have recorded 95.92% pass percentage, government schools 96.3%, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya 99.71%, Kendriya Vidyalaya 95.67%, and Central Tibetan School 86.52%. Similarly, in Class XII category, girls of government schools have outshone the boys. In Panchkula, out of 70,240 boys, 6,4913 have cleared the exam, a pass percentage of 92.42%, while in girls category, the pass percentage was 96.24 as out of the 54093 girls, 52,057 girls had passed.
