Child rights panel head inspects two Chandigarh schools

On Monday, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR), headed by Harjinder Kaur, chairperson, CCPCR visited Ankur Public School, Sector 14 and Government Model Senior Secondary school (GMSSS), Dhanas for an inspection.

CHANDIGARH: On Monday, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR), headed by Harjinder Kaur, chairperson, CCPCR visited Ankur Public School, Sector 14 and Government Model Senior Secondary school (GMSSS), Dhanas for an inspection.
At Ankur Public School, she interacted with nursery students and was satisfied with their health and mental well being.

She also appreciated the ambience of the school.
Senior students shared their experiences during lockdown. It was observed that children learned to be familiar with the digital world. Also, while they learned to be innovative, they also got the time to bond with family members and forge closer relationships.
At GMSSS, Dhanas she appreciated the children’s corner created by the school to welcome students.
