Chd smart city board to hold meet tomorrow

Chandigarh: The board meeting of Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL), led by adviser to the administrator, will be held on Monday. Several agenda items will be taken up for discussion at the meeting. The agenda items are related to internal departmental issues, approval to hire manpower to run battery operated cart in Sector 17 Plaza, transfer of the project of minor sports and sensory park to Municipal Corporation from CSCL.
Sources said that the authority has hired people to run battery operated carts in Sector 17 Plaza, mainly for the elderly.The battery operated carts were started around three years back.
Another project to be discussed for approval is that of handing over minor sports and sensory park to the MC.
The list also includes agenda items of construction of approach road and allied works along with storm water and streetlight from 3 BRD to the MRF Station in Industrial Area, Phase II. The setting up of around 3,000 streetlights in the ABD (Area Based Development) of the city, planned by CSCL is also coming up for approval of the board. This works also includes maintenance of five years. Consideration and approval of the proposal of BEL (Bharat Electronic Limited) for furnishing of municipal SCADA building is also in the list to be discussed in the meeting.
