Man beaten up over crackers
Chandigarh: UT police booked three persons for allegedly assaulting a man with iron rods and sticks for allegedly stopping them from bursting crackers near his house after 10 pm in Bapudham colony, Sector 26, on Diwali night. The injured, Vijay Kumar, was admitted to GMSH-16 by cops. Police have registered a case against the accused, identified as Nikhil, Arjun, Raj, under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
