Chandigarh likely to get rain today: Met

CHANDIGARH: Sunny days are likely to be back from Tuesday. According to the meteorological department, there will be bright sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday but it may rain on Thursday.
The weathermen have forecast rain on Monday and the fog may make a comeback on these two days. "Tuesday and Wednesday will be clear and bright. However, rains are likely on Monday and Thursday," said Surender Paul, director, Chandigarh meteorological department.
Meanwhile, the maximum temperature went up by over two degrees and was recorded at 19.6 degrees celsius on Sunday. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 17 degrees celsius.
The minimum temperature came down from Saturday's 10.4 degrees celsius to 8.2 degrees celsius on Sunday.
