NEW DELHI: Panic gripped Nayagaon near Chandigarh after a shocking video surfaced showing an SUV being swept away by raging floodwaters while attempting to cross a submerged bridge.
As per the video which is being shared on social media platforms, the driver ignored the gushing currents and tried to navigate through the bridge on Thursday.
Within seconds, the vehicle lost balance, flipped two to three times, and was carried downstream by the powerful flow.
The video, now viral on social media, shows bystanders screaming helplessly as the SUV is swallowed by the swirling waters.
However, it is still not clear when exactly the incident occurred or what happened to the occupants of the SUV.
