CE inspects Sector 38 water issue, orders checks on supply lines
Chandigarh: Acting on complaints of drinking water supply issues in Sector 38 (West), MC chief engineer Sanjay Arora Thursday conducted an on-site inspection of the affected area to assess the situation and ensure prompt remedial measures.
During the visit, Arora reviewed the underground water supply infrastructure and directed officials to inspect the entire supply network for possible leakages. He also asked them to examine sewer lines in the area to rule out any blockage or risk of contamination.
Emphasising public health and safety, the chief engineer instructed officials to conduct regular water sampling and submit a detailed report after inspection and testing.
He assured residents that the MC is committed to ensuring safe and clean drinking water and that corrective measures will be taken on priority.
