CHANDIGARH:
Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) Regional Level Science Exhibition 2016 concluded with a valedictory ceremony on third day of the event at Atam Auditorium of Jainendra Public School. In all 90 Schools from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh participated with 268 students and 134 models in different categories. Best exhibits will battle for finals of National level CBSE science exhibition.
Health projects from New Happy Public School, Yamunanagar, Bhavan Vidyalaya Sector 27, and Lord Mahavir Jain School, Ambala Cantt, were chosen as best under sub-theme industry first position projects. In Transport communication, projects from Manav Mangal School, Panchkula; Lawrence Public Senior Secondary School, Mohali, and Golden Earth Global School, Patiala, were selected. Under sub-theme renewable resources for sustainable environment projects from Guru Nanak Punjab School, Jagat Khanna; Delhi Public School Karnal, St Vivekanand International School, Jagadhari, Himgiri Public School Panipat, and PKR Jain Senior Secondary School, Ambala, were chosen.
Under sub-theme Innovation in food production and food security, St Theras's Convent School, Karnal, New Happy Public School Yamunanagar, among others were selected. The entire event was full of creativity, and students of government and private schools visited the exhibition. Principal and management members praised innovations of students and motivated them. tnn
