CHANDIGARH: The CBI, which is investigating the MD/MS entrance test leak case, called all the 10 beneficiaries, asking them to join investigations. The beneficiaries were supposed to appear before the agency at the CBI headquarters in Sector 30 on Monday.
"Apart from sending summons at their residences, telephonic message has also been conveyed to all 10 identified beneficiaries, who are all men with MBBS degrees.

Some gave cheques for Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh to mastermind P Gurviri Reddy before the entrance test on November 10," a member of the probe team said.
Police recovered three blank cheques signed by the beneficiaries from the hotel room of Gangadhar Reddy in Patna when he was arrested on November 10. Mastermind P Gurivi Reddy, Gangadhar Reddy and two others are in police custody while the rest of the accused are in judicial custody. A total of 16 gang members have been arrested so far.
