Car misses hitting another, driver attacked

Chandigarh: Two men in as car allegedly assaulted a person with sharp-edged weapons in a case of road rage in Sector 34 on Saturday night. Kartavya, who belongs to Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, and resides in Kharar, is admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32. He said he was returning home after work, when his car narrowly missed hitting another bearing a registration number of Delhi near the gurdwara chowk in Sector 34 around 11 pm. Two occupants of the car allegedly abused him and forced him to stop his vehicle. He alleged both came out of the car and attacked him and fled. He received 12 stitches on his head. Police registered a case under relevant Sections of the IPC. Cops said they are scanning CCTV cameras installed near the crime spot to identify the accused.
