CHANDIGARH: Manil Gupta, an artist and his brother Rohit, a budding photographer’s ‘creation’ — a painted SUV — grabbed eyeballs at the arts college in Sector 10, where it was displayed. The two who were passing through the city have used their vehicle as a canvas to portray their art.
The brothers who allowed their imagination to run riot in a colourful burst on their vehicle informed that it took them 15 days to complete the ‘project’ titled, “The holographic love.”
Asked why did they choose a vehicle, Manil laughingly said, “Right now it is off season in art, so we decided to do something innovative.”
One of the reasons to go for mobile art was to get more people to see it as in a gallery, only limited people view artworks, they said.

The duo who shared the idea to paint their vehicle pointed out, “If you plan things, you tend to repeat yourself.” Their abstract artwork on the SUV was an amalgamation of vibrant colours, text and of course imagination. Their creativity on the SUV that makes for interesting viewing has loads of colour, slangs, comic pictures, random dialogues and graffiti.
