Burglary at garment store
Ludhiana: Two unidentified burglars targeted a ready-made garment store near Subhani building in old city on in the wee hours on Tuesday. The accused came in a pick-up auto and escaped with about 700 pieces of woollen, and ladies garments, worth about Rs12 lakh. The CCTV installed in a nearby shop has captured two accused barging into Fashion Hub store and coming out after half an hour with bags of garments.

In his complaint to the police, the shop owner Mohit Arora said he had closed the shop and went home. On Tuesday when he opened the shop at around 9am, he returned to his shop and found the shutter broken. His shop was ransacked and garments and the burglars had taken away garments.
SHO police station Division no 2, Sub Inspector Satwant Singh said that a pick-up auto and two suspects have been captured in a CCTV installed near the shop. The burglars were in shop for about half an hour before they left with the garments. The cops are scanning more CCTVs installed in the market to trace the accused. A case has been registered.
