The operation was a testament to the BSF's swift action on the ground. According to Shimla Rani, Station House Officer, Sadar police station in Fazilka, the BSF informed the police that there was a drone movement near Jhanger Bahini village. On getting the information the entire area was sealed and a massive search operation was launched for over six hours during which a packet of heroin (532 grams) was recovered from the field near the border.

The consistent success of the prompt action highlights the strategic measures and technological countermeasures employed by the BSF to combat cross-border smuggling effectively.
