HISAR: Body of an unknown man, tied in a blanket, has been found in the pump house in Saharwa village of the district. Looking at the condition of the dead body, the police have considered it a case of murder and started an investigation after registering an FIR. The body has not been identified yet.
Hisar police said the Azad Nagar police station had registered a case on the complaint of Beldar Sombir of Siwani pump house against unknown persons under sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the Indian Penal Code.
In his complaint to the police, Sombir said on Wednesday afternoon when he was working at the pump house, body of an unknown person tied in a blanket was seen floating in the water. The head and feet of the body were out of the blanket. After this, he informed the police and cops came to the spot and took the body in their custody, he said.
Sombir expressed apprehension that unknown persons killed the deceased and tied his body with a blanket and put the body in the canal so that it could not be identified.
