Bikers snatch mobile, cops scan cameras

Chandigarh: Two unknown persons riding a scooter sped away after snatching a mobile phone from a man at Ram Darbar on Saturday. On the statement of the complainant , Sector 31 police registered a case against and started a probe.
In his complaint to police, Arjun Gupta, a resident of Phase-1 , Ramdarbar, reported that he was returning from a market and as he reached near the house number 377, the miscreants riding on a scooter approached from rear and sped away after snatching his mobile phone from his hands.The complainant reported the matter to police at 112.
On receiving information of snatching , sector 31 police reached the spot and recorded the statement of the victim. “We are scanning CCTVs for clues,” said the police.
