YAMUNANAQAR: Sonia Gandhi would not be acceptable as a Prime Minister of the country at any cost. Former chief minister of Haryana and supremo of Haryana Vikas Party Bansi Lal while addressing a rally at village Khadri, about 20 kilometers from here on Saturday afternoon said that if Sonia Gandhi unluckily becomes the Prime Minister, then the country would once again become slave as we have seen in the time of Britishers.
1x1 polls

Bansi Lal said that Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru was not aware that there would be any prospective candidate of foreign origin for prime ministership. He said that had he known, he would have got the constitution amended.
He said that if Congress projects Dr Manmohan Singh, former finance minister as the next Prime Minister then Haryana Vikas Party would whole heartedly support his candidature. He predicted there would not be clear-cut majority of any political party in the next Parliament election.
He stated that his party would not go for an alliance with Bhartiya Janta Party and would contest all the ten Parliament seats in Haryana. He said that the party has started scrutinizing the names of the candidates for the Parliament seats, which would be announced very shortly.
Bansi Lal said that with the entry of Rahul and Priyanka in Congress, there would not be much difference. He said that he would not contest Lok Sabha election and would prefer to come in fray as Assembly candidate. He added that Ekta Shakti, a political party in Haryana, has no base in the state. He informed that during his chief ministership maximum representation was given to the Northern Haryana.
Bansi Lal lashed out at the present redumption of Chautala regime where law and order situation has deteriorated beyond. He assured that if HVP could come in power there would be substantial reduction in the power tariff and other facilities will be provided to the people of the state.
