Auto drivers during day, burglars at night

Mohali: Police have busted a gang of burglars, with the arrest of four auto drivers. Ropar range DIG Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the accused used to drive autos during daytime and identified houses to be burgled and struck during night. Bhullar said the accused are Rakesh Kumar, Ajay Singh, Bunty Kumar, and Vijender Singh, all residents of Amb Sahib Colony, Phase XI. The DIG said all of them were caught from near the motor market on Wednesday on a tip-off. Police recovered one pistol and seven live cartridges, two laptops, two LEDs, two mobile phones and five speakers.
