At -4.9 degrees, Kukumseri coldest in HP

Kullu: Neri in Himachal Pradesh was the warmest place in the state with the highest maximum temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius, while Kukumseri in Lahaul-Spiti was the coldest, with the lowest minimum temperature of -4.9 degrees Celsius, on Monday.Neri in Hamirpur was followed by Una, with a maximum temperature of 27.6 degrees Celsius, Mandi 26.6 degrees, Kangra 25.4 degrees, Berthin 25.2 degrees, Sundernagar and Bhuntar 24.8 degrees each, Nahan 23.6 degrees, and Solan 23 degrees.
Among the tourist destinations, Dharamshala recorded a maximum temperature of 22.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 10.9 degrees Celsius, Shimla a maximum of 17.6 degrees and a minimum of 7.5 degrees, and Manali a maximum temperature of 17.8 degrees and a minimum of 2.9 degrees. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Centre, Shimla has predicted the likelihood of light rain and snow at isolated places in the higher reaches on Feb 27-28. In the rest of the state, the weather will remain clear and dry till March 1.
