A survey has started and soon, data related to property and other needs would be integrated, analysed, shared and will be displayed in the smartphone application. GIS applications include tools which allow users to create interactive queries, analyse spatial information, edit data in maps and obtain results of all these operations. In-charge for this initiative would be MC commissioner Uma Shankar Gupta.

With the unique identity number (UIN), residents would be able to pay water and sewerage bills and assess property tax after assessment using the mobile application itself. The application which is yet to be named would be available on Android and iOS devices, and would likely benefit around 55,000 households. Also, this would include general information and complaint system as well. Through the application, residents can forward a request for alternation in basic details like owner's name, addresses, cellphone number, among others. These changes would reflect once authorized by a competent authority.

An SMS system would also be put in place through which users would be informed of their taxes and bills due for payment.
