CHANDIGARH: The world’s largest
anti-drug awareness campaign
would be launched on July 30 in Punjab. In this campaign more than 5 lakh youth of Punjab would take oath to fight against the evil of drugs and would attempt to create a new world record.
The decision was taken by the body comprising 14 different associations of Unaided College of Punjab that is Joint Action Committee (JAC) under the leadership of chairman, JAC,

Spokesman, JAC, Dr Anshu Kataria said that the campaign would be launched on July 30 under the patronship of chief minister Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh. Kataria added that after this the campaign would be launched in over 1600 colleges in 22 districts of the state.
Ashwani Sekhri told that the campaign would be taken to each Tehsils/ Mandals/Blocks/Taluqs, Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats, Village Panchayats etc through 5 lakh youths of the state.
