Amritpal’s wife meets him in jail

Amritsar: Kirandeep Kaur, wife of pro-Khalistan Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh, met him in Assam’s Dibrugarh jail on Thursday. She was accompanied by Amritpal’s aide Daljit Singh Kalsi’s wife Neeru and their son Simerjit. Both Amritpal and Daljit are detained in Dibrugarh jail under the National Security Act along with other Khalistan protagonists. Earlier, an advisory board constituted by the Punjab government had met the detainees inside the jail. During the meeting, Amritpal had given a letter to the SGPC’s legal team regarding the formation of a panel to conduct the upcoming judicial process. tnn
