Akil, Mishra promoted as DGP, Aggarwal new vigilance chief in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: Two ADGPs namely, Muhammad Akil and R C Mishra promoted to the ranks of Director General and were given new postings on Tuesday. Akil will be DGP crime now and RC Mishra will be the managing director of Haryana police housing corporation and director FSL Karnal.
Both Akil and Mishra are 1989 batch officers and Akil is part of the three member special enquiry committee (SET) constituted to probe the liquor theft scam.
PK aggarwal will be the new chief of Haryana State Vigilance bureau. He will take over KP Singh who has retired on Tuesday. The two new promotions has given a rejig in department. K K Rao will be the new Commissioner of Police for Gurugram and OP Singh will be the new Commissioner of Police for Gurugram.
