CHANDIGARH: While two Haryana MLAs - former state transport minister O P Jain and former chief parliamentary secretary Zile Ram Sharma - are on the run following a non-bailable warrant issued by the court in an abetment to suicide case of a former sarpanch, the victim's family is living in fear.
The victim's son Rajender, a barber by profession, on Tuesday told TOI that unknown persons in a Scorpio car, with a red beacon, keep following him.

"My movements are being tracked," he added.
His father Karam Singh, 58, a former sarpanch of Kambopura village in Karnal district, was found dead on June 7, 2011, a day after he lodged a complaint against Jain and Sharma, for allegedly duping him and his relatives to the tune of Rs 12 lakh with the promise of providing them government jobs. The accused have been denying the allegations.
On August 8, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed a chargesheet against both the MLAs under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of IPC. Recently, a Panchkula court had issued non-bailable warrants (NBWs) against both the legislators.
Rajender, 34, alleged that his relatives were being pressurised to reach a compromise in the matter. "Some unknown persons repeatedly knock doors of my house in my absence. Security should be deployed at my residence also," said the barber, who is accompanied by a security guard all the time. The police have been deployed at his shop in Karnal too. "Now, I would request the CBI officials to help me," he added.
However, CBI superintendent of police (SP) Tarun Gauba said they have not received any complaint from Karam's family yet. "If we receive any complaint, then it would be forwarded to the Haryana police for appropriate action," he added.
