Accident accused in judicial custody

Chandigarh: UT police produced Paramvir Singh Dhola, driver of the Beetle car, which rammed into a group of people in Dhanas on May 17, killing three, in a local court. He has been remanded in judicial custody. The accused also withdrew his application in which he said that he had to appear in the BA final exams. Hearing on his application was fixed for May 25. After the expiry of his three-day police custody, Sarangpur Police did not demand extension of his police custody. tnn
