AAP meets residents ahead of MC elections

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party, Chandigarh organised a public meeting in the booth market of Sector 32-D on Saturday to discuss pending issues of the city and to ascertain the opinion of local residents regarding the upcoming MC elections.
The meeting was organised under the leadership of Jagdeep Mahajan, president, Booth Market and Welfare Association.

During the meeting, people raised the slogan, “BJP saaf, Iss baar AAP.”
Senior AAP leader Harmohan Dhawan, co-in-charge Pradeep Chhabra, vice-president Sandeep Bhardwaj and general secretary Kaushal Singh, Rajinder Hindustani were present on the occasion.
Referring to Arvind Kejriwal's 11 guarantees, AAP co-in-charge Pradeep Chhabra said after winning MC elections, the party would fulfill all the promises made in its manifesto, including providing 20,000 liters of clean and free water to every household.
Vice-president Sandeep Bhardwaj said corruption is at its peak in the MC under BJP rule. “After winning the municipal elections, Aam Aadmi Party will expose the corruption spread in the MC and take strict action against guilty leaders and officials,” he added.
Jagdeep Mahajan, president of the welfare association said that the condition of the city had worsened under the BJP rule in the last five years.
