AAP launches social media campaign
Jalandhar: A day after Darbar Sahib head granthi Giani Raghbir Singh levelled serious allegations against the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and accused the Badals of patronising the corrupt in the representative Sikh body, the Aam Aadmi Party pushed a major social media campaign against the Badals over these allegations. Punjab assembly speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, ministers, and MLAs posted about the issue on their social media accounts. The party's entire social media ecosystem, including its national accounts, pushed the campaign with #SaveSGPCfromBadals. The party's supporting accounts from outside Punjab also pushed this campaign."The respected institution of the Panth, SGPC, which over the past few decades effectively became the private property of a single family, was discussed in full detail yesterday by the esteemed Giani Raghbir Singh Ji. However, it is unfortunate that instead of bringing transparency into the administration of the SGPC, its prominent leaders are still trying to protect that one family which has control over the organisation. I believe that today the Panthic forces should unite and free the entire administration of the SGPC from the clutches of that family," posted speaker Sandhwan.
