Chandigarh: Punjab govt on Tuesday claimed to have removed bureaucratic hurdles in its flagship Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana (MMSY), announcing instant on-the-spot registration with just Aadhaar and voter ID at common service centres (CSC) across the state.
Chairing a high-level review meeting, health minister Dr Balbir Singh also unveiled performance-based incentives for village-level entrepreneurs operating CSCs, promising preferential employment opportunities within the Punjab govt for top performers, while launching a statewide mobilisation drive to ensure 100% saturation of the scheme.

Chairing a high-level virtual meeting with ministers, MLAs and deputy commissioners, the minister directed officials to move beyond traditional outreach methods and expand the registration drive. He said any Punjab resident possessing an Aadhaar card and a Punjab voter ID could simply walk into any CSC or designated registration camp to enrol in the scheme.
To ensure 100% saturation of the scheme, the minister launched a massive grassroots mobilisation campaign and directed all DCs to activate the state's extensive network of Accredited Social Health Activists and Anganwadi workers. These frontline workers will conduct door-to-door campaigns to identify eligible families and guide them to the nearest enrolment centres, ensuring that the most vulnerable populations are not left behind, he said.
