70g gold recovered from woman

CHANDIGARH: UT police recovered around 70g of gold jewellery which was deposited to Muthood Finance by accused Jaspreet Kaur. Jaspreet Kaur was arrested by Sector 17 police for duping three city jewelers on December 4. Second accused in the case is still at large, cops said.
Jaspreet went to Akhil Jain of Nikka Mal Babu Ram Jewellers in Sector 22 to buy jewellery.When Akhil asked for the money, Jaspreet threatened to implicate him in a false harassment cases claiming to have contacts in the police department and links with politicians in Punjab.
Jain in his complaint said that both the women came and posed as the owners of Amar Cloth House.
