4th accused in abduction, murder case held

Chandigarh: Fourth accused in the abduction and murder case of a man at Deep Complex in Hallomajra was arrested on Thursday. The accused was identified as Shemal Singh, 23, a resident of Shivalik Vihar, Zirakpur. On Feb 5, complainant Vijay Kumar, a resident of Hallomajra, said his relative Sushil alias Sahil, was kidnapped by three to four youths on motorcycles. Police investigation revealed that earlier, Manpreet, brother of the accused, Anil, died after being hit by Sushil's car. The crime, police said, was motivated by vengeance.
