4 of family, including 2 kids, killed as truck rams car
AMBALA: Four persons, including two children, were killed and four others suffered serious injuries when their car was hit by a truck near Harnauli village on the Jagadhri-Bilaspur road in the wee hours of Tuesday.

All injured were rushed to the Jagadhri civil hospital, where the doctors declared Nirmala, Rinki and Riyank brought dead. Meanwhile, Gurdev, Deepak and Sanaivari were suffering serious injuries and were referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Later, Sanaivari also succumbed to her injuries.
The other two, Sumit and Lekhraj, were admitted at the trauma centre. Assistant sub-inspector Satish Kumar of Bilaspur police station said that the accused fled the spot. “The postmortem of the victims was conducted and their bodies were handed over to their relatives. The police have registered a case against an unidentified driver and investigations have been started,” he said.

road, a high-speeding truck allegedly hit it from behind while trying to overtake it. The impact of the collision was so strong that the car overturned and got badly damaged. All eight persons were trapped in the car. However, other relatives coming behind in another vehicle pull them out and also informed the police.All injured were rushed to the Jagadhri civil hospital, where the doctors declared Nirmala, Rinki and Riyank brought dead.
