<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">YAMUNA NAGAR: Three hundred and sixty five polling personnel have been put on election duty in Yamuna Nagar district to ensure fair and free poll. In all the 723 polling stations, one woman employee has been appointed as polling officer in the district to identify the women voters. <br /><br />Vijayendra Kumar Deputy Commissioner Yamuna Nagar informed that sufficient staff is available to man polling stations.
While three assembly constituencies - Sadhaura, Chhachhrauli and Jagadhri - fall in Ambala Lok Sabha, Yamuna Nagar and Radaur are part of Kurukshetra. <br /><br />Kumar informed that polling staff would be put on duty after proper shuffling of employees from central/state government, depending on their availability.<br /><br />The deputy commissioner informed that 100 polling booths in five Assembly segments of Yamuna Nagar district have been identified super sensitive whereas 100 booths are sensitive. He said that in Yamuna Nagar Assembly there are 18 super sensitive and 14 sensitive booths. <br /><br /><formid=367815><br /><br /></formid=367815></div> </div><div class="section2"><div class="Normal"><br />In Jagadhri 20 booths have been declared as super sensitive whereas 19 are sensitive. In Chhachhrauli 18 booths have been declared as super sensitive and 15 are sensitive. He stated that the maximum super sensitive 35 booths have been declared in Sadhaura with number of sensitive booths being 20. He said that in Radaur (Reserve Constituency) 9 are super sensitive whereas 32 are sensitive booths.<br /><br />Kumar informed that there are 648150 electorals in Yamuna Nagar district out of which 350554 are men and 297596 are women. He said that the maximum voters in the district are in Yamuna Nagar constituency.<br /><br />Kumar said that there would be restriction on possession of arms during the election and places would be identified for pasting posters/pamphlets etc. He said that all the electorals would use electronic voting machines. <br /><br />He said that 15 machines have been pressed into service for giving training to polling personnel. He said that to bring more transparency in the election process the election commission has instructed that few polling officers would be from inter-district. <br /><br />The election would be held on May 10 and counting will begin on May 13, he said, adding five counting centres have also been earmarked. <br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
