3-year-old girl kidnapped

CHANDIGARH: A three-year-old girl was kidnapped from a Sector 22 hotel on Monday night. On Tuesday, her father - Harish Arora, a resident of Delhi -- received a call from a kidnapper who sought Rs 10 lakh as ransom.
The police have booked Jagpal Bainwal, a resident of Jind district in Haryana, on the complaint of Arora. A case has been registered at Sector 17 police station.Sources in the police said, "Arora told in his complaint that there is a financial dispute between Bainwal and him and that he, along with his daughter, was here to settle it. When Bainwal came to meet him at the hotel, he took his daughter out for a stroll, but never returned."
DSP (central) Ashish Kapoor said, "A hunt has been launched to trace the accused. Different police wings, including the crime branch and the cyber cell, among others, are working with the local police to trace the girl."
