26-yr-old nurse commits suicide

Chandigarh: A 26-year-old woman allegedly ended her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her room in Khuda Ali Sher on Monday, the second suicide in consecutive days in the city. Jaspreet Kaur worked as a private nurse. She belonged to Bathinda. Her friend Balbir Singh living in a separate room in the same house said he found the main door of her room locked from inside around 6.30am.When she did not respond, he with the help of neighbours broke the door and found her body. No suicide note was recovered, cops said.
