24-year-old held with pistol in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: The operation cell of the police claimed to have caught a 24-year-old man with a country-made pistol and a live cartridge from near the rally ground in Sector 25 on Thursday, the second such arrest in two days.

Deepak, a resident of Sector 25, was remanded in judicial custody for 14 days. He was caught while he tried to escape from a naka, cops said. On January 26, police arrested
