21-yr-old’s murder shocks Indian community in Australia
The murder of 21-year-old
The alleged accused, whose identity is being hidden as per court orders, has been denying his involvement in the crime. He faced court via video link on Tuesday and did not file any application for bail. The 20-year-old student was remanded in custody till December.
As per news reports, “Court documents reveal the alleged murder took place between March 4 and March 8 at Parachilna, about 50km north of where her body was discovered.”
Jasmeen had gone missing on Friday night. She was last seen at about 10pm on Friday at Plympton North. Her aunt realised on Saturday morning after receiving a call from Jasmeen’s workplace that she did not turn up. She was working at an Aged Care facility. Her aunt started a frantic search and after all attempts failed, she lodged a missing persons report with the police. Police questioned the man known to Jasmeen, who, after consistent questioning, took the police to Jasmeen’s grave.
He had traveled from Adelaide to the location, north of Hawker, where the body was located. The alleged accused, charged with murder and failing to report the death, insisted that he did not know how she died.
The matter is still under investigation and police are trying to establish the circumstances which led to her death. As per reports gathered from sources, the alleged accused drove four and a half hours out of Adelaide after borrowing a friend’s car. Jasmeen’s friends and relatives remember her as very kind-hearted and always ready to help. She is survived by her mother and brother. Her father died a few years ago.

It's strange how Indian media highlight isolated incidence in other countries but don't spend time in digging truth about Indian corrupt political system and how crime is covered up in India.There are so many girls getting raped each day's, people getting murdered, traffic Nuisance taking life of people but it will never be highlighted as it exposes the local government and nexus of criminals, police and politicians.
