2 club women bouncers attack entry seeker in Pkl

Panchkula: Two bouncers — both women —allegedly thrashed a 38-year-old woman over entry to a club in Sector 9 here in the early hours of Sunday.
Nazma of Khuda Ali Sher, Chandigarh, said she had gone with her friends to Almas club in Sector 8. The 38-year-old said one of her friends, Simran, then went to Purple Frog club in Sector 9 to attend another party around 3 am. At 4 am, Nazma said she went to pick up her friend, but a bouncer identified as Kajal allegedly stopped her. Nazma alleged when she requested to allow her entry as her friend was not answering her calls, Kajal pushed her. Kajal and another bouncer, Kiran, then used abusive language and thrashed her, Nazma alleged. She said she called 112 helpline. After her medical examination, police registered a case under Sections 323 and 506 of the IPC.
PO arrested after 8 years
Police have arrested a proclaimed offender in an assault case after a gap of eight years. Shaan of EWS colony, Dhanas, was arrested in 2015, but after getting bail from court, he stopped appearing for the hearings in the trial and was declared a proclaimed offender in 2018. Police said he was also booked in other cases.
