2 arrested for shooting at veterinarian’s residence
Jalandhar: The Jalandhar commissionerate of police on Tuesday arrested two suspects involved in a shooting at the house of a govt veterinarian in Santokhpura area of Jalandhar during on Friday night. Commissioner of police Dhanpreet Kaur said a police team led by DCP (investigation) Manpreet Singh Dhillon arrested Jagjit Singh and Lovepreet Singh, residents of Badala Johal, near Jandiala Guru, Amritsar.

She said police seized two pistols along with magazines, the motorcycle used in the crime, and clothes worn by the accused during the shooting. She said they would be questioned about their linkages. Jagjit faced a case registered in May last year at Tarn Taran Sadar police station.
