CHANDIGARH: The belief in Navaratras' auspiciousness is driving the sales charts of car dealerships high. And it is the Germans who seem to be benefiting the most. That's because in the last five days, 15 S, E and C-class Mercedes cars have been sold in Chandigarh. The luxury cars so far sold range from Rs 26 lakh to Rs 86 lakh. A Mercedes SLS AMG series car launched in Chandigarh with a price tag of Rs 2.4 crore has also been booked.
Sale of high-end cars is making dealers happy as they so far had to be content with sales of just small and middle segment cars.
