11-year-old girl wins gold

Mohali: In the Kheddan Watan Diyan tournament organised by Punjab government at the block, district and state level, 11-year-old Inayat Sharma, a meritorious student of Class VI at Gurukul School, Zirakpur, won the gold medal in Lawn Tennis. She stood first in the under-14 age category at the state-level. She defeated Faridkot in the quarter finals. tnn
