Three arrested for snatching

Bhubaneswar: Chandanpur police in Puri district on Tuesday busted a gang of snatchers, who had allegedly been attacking and robbing passersby on desolate roads. The accused were identified Suryakanta Samantaray (27), Subash Dash (27) and Chandan Mishra (23), police said. “We seized a country-made pistol, a bullet, knife, two phones and two gold chains among other articles. They were planning to leave Odisha when our team arrested them,” said SP (Puri) Kanwar Vishal Singh. tnn
