Berhampur: Authorities of Kabiraj Anant Tripathy Sharma Ayurved College at Ankushapur near here revoked the suspension order of a fourth-year student on Monday.
“As per the request of the All Odisha Ayush Students’ Association and after a conditional call off of ongoing strike of the association, the suspension order of Biswajit Rana, a final-year student of the college has been withdrawn,” an order issued by principal A K Das read.
Rana, an association member, was suspended by the college authorities on Dec 4 for his alleged misconduct and unethical behaviour towards health and family welfare minister Mukesh Mahaling by sending his white coat during the strike. The association postponed their month-long strike after discussions with Mahaling in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
