SAMBALPUR: A youth from Sambalpur has literally become the face of Infosys.
Ansuman Panda, a testing engineer with Infosys at Bangalore, is featuring in the latest advertisement campaign by the IT major. Ansuman was selected from amongst hundreds of competitors for the advertisement themed, "Future is built by the restless" representing the 15 million-strong organization.

He had to go through several rounds of screening before being selected. "To be selected was no easy task. It is a matter of pride for me", Ansuman said.
Ansuman is the son of Sasanka Sekhar Panda, joint director in the department of information and public relations and grandson of Sambalpur-based renowned Odia writer Uma Shankar Panda. He studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya till Class X, did his Plus II from a Bhubaneswar college and engineering in IT from Kalinga Institute of Information Technology (KIIT) before joining Infosys in 2009.
His family and friends were ecstatic over his achievement. They feel this will definitely encourage youths from the region.
"It is a happy and unforgettable moment. I am very proud of him," said his jubilant father Sasanka on Tuesday.
Ansuman's achievement has given a new strength to the younger generation of the locality.
"The photograph of the IT professional is reflecting the restlessness of the youth to build a future. I am really glad to view the advertisement campaign," said Kamalakshya Pruseth, a student from Gangadhar Meher College of Sambalpur.
