BHUBANESWAR: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel busted a Maoist camp along Balangir-Nuapada border during combing operations on Saturday.
They seized two detonators, five-kg explosives, food items, groceries, clothes and Red posters. "The camp was found at a location between Pathpani in Nuapada and Kusapali in Balangir district. Around 20 Maoist cadres are suspected to be moving in the area," CRPF assistant commandant Amit Pal Singh told the media.
Left-wing extremists had killed a teacher at Maoist-hit Pathpani village in February. Following the incident, residents deserted the village.
