BHUBANESWAR: The students of B K College of Art and Crafts unfurled another side of their creativity through a photography exhibition in the city on Monday. Everyday objects were captured by these students of art most brilliantly. Spectators were left spellbound.
A stray dog, a flower in the kitchen garden, old women or simply a pressure cooker have found a new visual definition in the photographs of these painters.

Nature, urban living, wildlife, the students have zoomed in on almost everything to create a visual smorgasbord.
"They are very young and talented photographers. The simple manner in which they have captured the various moods and idiosyncrasies of life is simply amazing," gushed a student, Mahendra Malik.
Over a 100 photographs vied for space and attention at the show. A teacher at the college, Minaketan Patnaik, said, "Art students have found a new genre to explore. Earlier, there would be no option for students but to take up teaching at art colleges. That has changed now for good. Photography has given art students a fresh lease of life and an opportunity to excel in a new genre."
